I'm Katie, a maternity, newborn, and family photographer serving families in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area. I photograph families artistically and timelessly, using a combination of digital photography and the beauty of classic film. Old-world architecture, vibrant gardens, and vintage details inspire my creativity and art.
I believe that photos are one of the few things that truly become more valuable to us over time. Think about looking through photos of your kids in their younger years, or photos of you and your parents as they were experiencing life with littles. How special are those to you?
My photography style is organic, elegant, and timeless, so that the images we create today can be adored not only in this season of life, but for the generations to come. As your kids grow and one day have kids of their own, the photos you have, especially those that are printed, will likely be so special to them.
During our time together, I'll provide you with resources and support to help prepare you for your session, so that you have more space to relax and love on your family during the session. In doing so, we'll set the foundation to organically create images that document your family's memories and milestones. Then after our session, you'll have the option to choose how you want to display your images, so that your family can experience the joy of wandering through your own printed family photos years later.
