The Top Maternity Photoshoot Locations in Henrico County, VA

Crump Park

Crump Park features a quaint farm alongside a charming farmhouse, perfect for photos year-round and especially beautiful in the fall. If you already have little ones, there’s also plenty of space for them to run around as we incorporate play into your session. It’s a wonderful setting for maternity photos in Henrico County, especially for mamas who love a lived-in feel for their photos. There’s also a parking lot available on-site.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens

Filled with flowers in beautiful bloom from late spring through early fall, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens is a stunning location for romantic maternity photos in Henrico County, VA. Lewis Ginter also features a pond and garden gazebo, which is perfect for adding more variety in backdrops to your session. There is also a parking lot available onsite. Weekday mornings are typically the best time to visit for a photo session due to lighter foot traffic.

Maymont Park

Maymont Park is located just outside of Henrico County, and it offers stunning Italian and Japanese gardens, a beautiful ornate gazebo, magnolia trees, and plenty of open green space. The Italian Garden features vibrant blooms, manicured hedges, and a fountain. This one of my favorite spots, and I find the best time to go is weekday mornings or evenings. There’s also a parking lot available onsite, with additional parking on the street.

The Branch Museum of Design

The Branch Museum of Design is a beautiful indoor location just outside of Henrico County. It features stunning cross-hatch windows that allow plentiful natural light to pour in, bouncing off of the stone walls. This is an elegant, understated, and timeless venue that makes for the dreamiest maternity photos. There’s also an option to step outside for some outdoor portraits, which is especially beautiful in the fall.
