Stating the obvious – it can be really challenging to find cute maternity clothes. When I look for maternity clothes, I want clothes that are flattering while pregnant and don’t scream “maternity”, so that I can wear them after pregnancy, too. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite stores in Richmond, Virginia and online that offer beautiful dresses for pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Honeybloom is one of my favorites. Not only is it local to the Richmond area, but each piece of clothing seems like it was designed with a pregnant woman’s body in mind. They have the largest collection of maternity dresses and clothing I’ve seen in the Richmond area, with dresses perfect for baby showers, holidays, pregnancy announcement photos, and maternity photo sessions. Honeybloom has two locations in the Richmond, Virginia area, housed inside The Painted Tree Boutique in Glen Allen and Midlothian.
Sweetest Stitch
Sweetest Stitch has a collection of bump-friendly dresses perfect for beach vacations and babymoons. I love that it’s local to the Richmond, Virginia area, so you can quickly stop by to get a dress when you’re running short on time. Sweetest Stitch is located in Henrico, Virginia.

Mom and Me Boutique
While it’s not located in the Richmond area, I still love that Mom and Me Boutique is local to Virginia, having their storefront in Virginia Beach. Supporting local business is great when you can, and their online store helps you do just that. Their dresses are perfect for baby showers, holidays, casual wear, and maternity photo sessions.

Worth Collective
When a local boutique doesn’t have quite what I’m looking for, I often go online to Worth Collective. They have a large collection of dresses perfect for any occasion, from maternity photos to baby showers to casual wear. They have special bump-friendly dresses that can often be worn postpartum and beyond as well.
Quince
Quince is one of my favorite options for casual wear and vacations. They have high-quality dresses perfect for European or beach vacations, casual wear, and beyond. And as a bonus, their collection of men’s clothing is great for maternity photo sessions.
